The club was founded in 1991 (under the Bukit Batok Community Club), and officially launched in 1994. The flying club is located at Bukit Batok West Avenue 8. The members are not only from Singapore, but also from other Asian, European countries, as well as the USA.

Every weekend, members gather at the club's flying site to enjoy and exchange their excitement and experiences on aeromodelling. The flying field has a 100 meter concrete runway; with helicopter landing pads, a shelter, frequency control facility and safety fencing. Facilities are upkeep and maintaned as and when necessary.

The members are from all walks of life: professionals, businessmen, retirees, students, etc. Their age ranges from the youngest at 13 to the eldest at 60 years old. It is a sport suitable for the young, adults and senior citizens. It is important that one must have the interest and determination. You will find it educational and intellecturally stimulating. You will learn and experience the challenges and excitement from the time you build your aircraft to flying it eventually at the flying field.
